about

Growing up in Kildare I came from an artistic family and studied at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. My photographic vision is heavily influenced by the works of Henri Cartier-Bresson, Elliott Erwitt and Edgar Degas. I prefer to photograph in natural light, producing relaxed and spontaneous images, while remaining discreet in intimate settings. As a documentary wedding photographer I like to produce truthful pictures without directing or prompting people at a wedding.

The couples I work with come from all walks of life, but they have one thing in common, an appreciation for good photography. Many choose me for my unobtrusive ‘fly on the wall’ approach, where photography never dominates a wedding day. People feel confident to place their trust in my photographic skills, to produce beautiful candid images that will stand the test of time.

Today my work continues to attract a steady stream of open minded individuals, who are looking for something different when it comes to wedding photography. My unconventional and honest approach is not for everyone, but if you’re the person who wants to enjoy your wedding day rather than turn it into a photo shoot, then I might be the photographer for you.

I always work alone, I’m fully insured and photograph weddings throughout Ireland.
