Earlier this month I flew to New York City for the very first time. It's always been a place I wanted to visit and it certainly didn't disappoint. As a person who appreciates country life I wasn't quite sure how I'd react to the busy sidewalks and traffic jammed streets. Well, to my surprise, I loved it, and I'd encourage anyone who hasn't been, to go before you die. The New Yorkers can be both abrasive and helpful. The food was fantastic and they certainly know how to make a good pizza. The traffic is nuts and the constant sound of car horns echoing throughout the congested streets, is something I won't forget in a hurry. The pace of life is definitely way too fast for me and I wouldn't live there in a million years, but for a weekend break, it's so worth a visit. Be prepared to walk the legs off yourself while your body clock continually struggles with the 5 hour time difference. Without doubt, one of the best places I've ever visited. New York, I will be back.
As a lover of street photography I took a few snaps while I was there with my trusty pocket camera. Here is a small collection of images from my trip. Hope you enjoy them and thanks for visiting my gallery.
