It was Saturday, 14th September 2019; an historic day for the Dubs in Croke Park and a momentous day for Tríona and Barry in Clonakilty. Surrounded by family and friends they tied the knot in a yoga studio, where even I shed a tear during their emotional ceremony.
Tríona and Barry are pretty laid back and their day was a wonderful celebration of their relationship together. They got married, they laughed and they were happy; what more could you ask for on your wedding day.
My journey to West Cork that weekend was a long one, but it was so worth it. Tríona and Barry, thank you for giving me the artistic freedom to document your day without any requests for cheesy or clichéd wedding photos. The images displayed tell the true story of your wedding as it happened; nothing is staged and everything is real.
Finally, it was a joy to be your wedding photographer on this historic family occasion; people like you bring out the best in me. Enjoy the memories and best of luck to you both and little Rían in the years to come.
