Autumn; my favourite time of the year, low slanting golden light accompanied by blue skies complimented by the orange hue of falling leaves. It's a season of glorious colour and a great time to photograph a wedding.
Bridget and Padraic's ceremony took place in the quaint village of Hollywood in West Wicklow, where family and friends gathered to witness their marriage at St. Kevin's Church. Celebrations later continued at the lovely Lisnavagh House, a charming period building that sits harmoniously within the surrounding countryside. Speeches preceded the meal while music entertained the dancers late into the night, as a full moon shone amongst the passing clouds.
Thank you Bridget and Padraic for inviting me to document your wedding. I greatly appreciated the artistic freedom you gave me to photograph your day as it really happened. It was a pleasure to meet you both and I hope you enjoy your photo essay of this historic family occasion.
