Wedding photographs are important; they are a record of family history, and as time passes, the stories these same photos tell, become more valuable. The process of taking a photo may appear simple, but we must never forget why we do it.
On 20th August of this year, Grace & Micheál tied the knot at Bloomfield House Hotel, on the shores of Lough Ennell in Co. Westmeath. Family & friends witnessed the happy couple make their vows to each other. An exchange of rings, followed by a loving kiss, and that was it; Grace & Micheál were husband and wife.
The photographs I've chosen to display, tell the story of their wedding as it really happened, with no intrusion from me, the photographer.
Grace & Micheál, thanks for giving me the creative freedom to document your day the way I saw it; you trusted me, and for that I am most grateful.
I hope this photo story was worth waiting for. Enjoy the precious memories and may I wish you, and your families, all the best in the future. You were both great fun to be around.
